Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver wind measurement and analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and the wider business. The role requires adding value to opportunities in a competitive and evolving marketplace while maintaining high engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare RFQs for met mast installation and decommissioning tenders
  • Evaluate tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
  • Coordinate with met mast suppliers
  • Organize and perform site surveys
  • Manage TSA and contracts with suppliers
  • Gather information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in engineering, science, physics, or mathematics; Chartered membership is advantageous
  • Previous experience with UK onshore/offshore wind projects is required
  • Experience with wind assessment software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, etc.) and ArcGIS is a plus
