Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and the wider business, demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while maintaining appropriate Engineering and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
2. Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred supplier
3. Liaising with met mast suppliers
4. Organising and performing site surveys
5. Working on TSA and contracts with suppliers
6. Collating required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

1. A minimum of a degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body is an advantage.
2. Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED!
3. Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
