Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business. The role requires demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a competitive and evolving marketplace while maintaining high engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
  • Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
  • Liaising with met mast suppliers
  • Organising and performing site surveys
  • Managing TSA and contracts with suppliers
  • Gathering information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical disciplines. Chartered membership would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience with UK onshore/offshore wind projects is REQUIRED.
  • Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is beneficial.
