Job summary

A leading financial institution in the UK is seeking a professional to manage Wholesale Credit Operational Risk. The successful candidate will collaborate with business leads and controls colleagues to ensure effective risk management practices. Responsibilities include supporting the Non-Financial Risk Framework, executing control monitoring, and providing training to promote a strong risk management culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in Wholesale Credit Risk and a solid understanding of EUC management frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wholesale Credit Risk.
• Good understanding of EUC management frameworks.
• Experience in a controls, risk, and/or audit function.
• Strong judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prepare and present understandable data.
• Ability to work independently and challenge effectively.
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of all aspects of the Non-Financial Risk Framework.
• Develop and execute controls monitoring over WCR controls.
• Work with the business to develop control monitoring plans.
• Execute detailed control activity related to WCR.
• Assess control adequacy and effectiveness within the wider Controls function.
• Drive documentation and remediation actions for control deficiencies.
• Respond to Internal Audits and Compliance Monitoring reviews.
• Provide risk management training to promote awareness.
