Job summary

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) in Bournemouth is seeking experienced Senior Associates to support operational lending services. You will own complex loan transactions, act as SME on projects, and collaborate with traders and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate processing.

The role focuses on process improvement, automation, risk mitigation, and developing talent within a culture of excellence. You will join a high-performance team dedicated to client service and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in financial services, banking operations, or lending services.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership or SME experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of complex loan transactions across the loan lifecycle.
Lead or act as SME in process-improvement projects and initiatives.
Support daily trading operations with accurate trade execution.
Collaborate with clients, legal, credit, and operations teams to resolve inquiries.
Review loan documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and risk mitigation.
Mentor and coach junior team members to sustain high performance.
Maintain a strong controls environment and escalate issues as needed.
Contribute to client service excellence and scalable processes.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Review LMA standard documents and related agreements.
