TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Level 3 Flying Start Practitioner for a Welsh-medium Flying Start childcare provision in Neath. You will work with 2-3 year olds, delivering Welsh-language, play-based activities and supporting language development.

Flexible long-term and short-term placements with both full-time and part-time hours. The role requires a Level 3 Childcare qualification, fluent Welsh, and experience in early years settings.

Competenze

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent.
• Fluency in Welsh with the ability to communicate confidently with children, colleagues and parents.
• Experience in an early years setting such as a nursery or Flying Start.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and the Curriculum for Wales.

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for 2–3 year olds.

Salary: £14.80 - £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Welsh-medium Flying Start childcare provision based in Neath. This established early years setting provides a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, with a strong focus on developing confidence, independence and Welsh language skills through play-based learning.

The setting is looking for Welsh Speaking Level 3 Flying Start Practitioners on long-term and short term basis, offering flexible working hours.

The successful Flying Start Practitioner will support children aged 2-3 years, delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging Welsh language development and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment that supports children's individual learning and development.

The successful Welsh Speaking Level 3 Flying Start Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development or an equivalent recognised childcare qualification
• Fluency in Welsh, with the ability to communicate confidently with children, colleagues and parents
• Experience working within an early years, nursery or Flying Start childcare setting
• Sound knowledge of child development, safeguarding and the Curriculum for Wales
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children's development
• Flexibility, reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
