TeacherActive is working with a Welsh-medium Flying Start childcare provision based in Neath to recruit a Welsh Speaking Level 3 Flying Start Practitioner. This role supports children aged 2-3 with Welsh-language activities in a nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, is fluent in Welsh, and has experience in early years or Flying Start contexts. The position offers flexible hours and is paid on a PAYE basis at market-leading rates.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent.
• Fluency in Welsh and confident communication with children, colleagues and parents.
• Experience in early years, nursery or Flying Start settings.
• Knowledge of child development, safeguarding and Curriculum for Wales.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children's development.
• Flexibility, reliability and ability to work well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for 2-3 year olds.
• Support Welsh language development and create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Work as part of a Welsh-medium Flying Start team to support children’s development.
