Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a private day nursery in Bridgend on a temporary basis. Immediate start with support for children's early learning, development and daily routines.

The role requires Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, experience in an Early Years setting and a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Pay is £14.25–£15.00 per hour, paid PAYE, with opportunities through CPD and referrals.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursery Practitioner with Level 2 or 3 in Childcare.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Bridgend in their search for a Nursery Practitioner. The setting provides a welcoming and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a short-term basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout their early years development, assisting with daily routines, delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Phase and ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Phase

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

Flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude
