Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf. This role involves covering lessons, delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task in a busy classroom environment.

We seek someone with strong Welsh language skills, experience with young people, and confident behaviour management. EWC registration or willingness to obtain, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh language required for classroom support.
• Experience working with young people or in education settings recommended.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons across the secondary school.
• Deliver pre-set work and keep students on task.
• Maintain a positive, focused classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Support students with their learning where appropriate.
• Work across different subjects as required.
• Liaise with teaching staff about lesson plans and progress.
