Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting General Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classrooms, and support pupils across various year groups.

We welcome applicants with experience working with young people and a confident, professional approach. You will need strong communication and behaviour management skills, and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in education, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work or related roles.
• Confident and professional approach to managing a classroom.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility to work across multiple schools or different schedules.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils in completing set work.
• Adapt to different school settings and year groups.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
