Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Cardiff. This role is for urgent and ongoing vacancies with competitive daily rates.

You will cover lessons, deliver pre-set work, and help maintain a positive learning environment while supporting students across different subjects as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh language skills.
• Experience working with young people or within an education setting.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to work independently.
• EWC registration or willingness to obtain.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons across the secondary school.
• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task.
• Supporting a positive and productive learning environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.
• Working across different subjects as required.
• Liaising with teaching staff regarding lesson plans and student progress.

Welsh Cover Supervisor Needed - Cardiff

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Cardiff.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Welsh language skills who enjoys working with young people and is looking to build or continue their experience within education.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Covering lessons across the secondary school
