Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support pupils at a Pontypridd primary school. The role is on-site and temporary, with a daily rate of £90–£95, and requires either Level 2/3 qualifications or at least 6 months of educational experience.

The successful candidate will work 1:1 or in small groups, maintain safeguarding standards, and contribute to a calm, caring classroom environment. DBS and references are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment
• A calm, patient and caring personal
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis

Responsibilities

• Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
