Job summary

Buxton Crescent is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of service, applying menu knowledge and dietary guidance, and supporting upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience.

You will manage reservations, serve drinks and meals, and ensure the dining and bar areas are clean and well presented in line with Champneys standards and hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Complete working knowledge of menus, ingredients and daily availability.
• Ability to explain dietary options and nutrition basics to guests.
• Proactive upselling and drive for service excellence.
• Strong customer service and guest relationship skills.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a well presented F&B area and ensure guest standards are met.
• Have full knowledge of dietary needs to assist guests.
• Provide menu and nutrition guidance to guests and answer queries.
• Take reservations and deliver food and beverages to tables.
• Keep dining and bar areas, and cellar spaces, clean, safe and hygienic.
