Job summary

Buxton Crescent is recruiting for a full-time Food & Beverage role in Buxton. You will provide consistent, courteous service, promote sales within F&B, and act as an ambassador for Champneys.

You will lead by example, brief the team, and ensure smooth daily operations across the restaurant and service areas. The position emphasizes nutrition knowledge, dietary adherence, and strong teamwork within a luxury wellness resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the department and ensure the team are briefed on the day’s guests, bookings and food offerings.
• In conjunction with the F&B Senior Team, maintain high standards of professional service in the restaurant areas.
• Supervise and assign tasks for daily cleaning of restaurants, service areas and equipment, ensuring a high level of presentation.
• Assist / perform pre-service briefings and check daily menus with the senior chef on duty.
• Ensure dietary sheets are provided for guests with specific requirements.
• Support F&B Assistants with training and supervise services.
• Document all sales and forward room charge receipts to front of house for guest accounts.
• Ensure staff knowledge of nutrition and adherence to dietary policies.
• Know and communicate guests’ dietary requirements to all restaurant staff.
