Job summary

Holland & Barrett is recruiting a Retail Assistant in Brecon to welcome customers and help them choose products that support their wellness goals. You’ll maintain store presentation, stock shelves and support promotions while delivering outstanding service.

You’ll join a friendly team, grow product knowledge through training, and use tablets to assist customers and manage checkout processes. This part-time role is 10 hours per week at £13.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
• Curiosity about health and wellness, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stay organized, work as part of a team and adapt in a busy retail environment.
• Confidence using technology, including tablets and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and helping them find the right products for their wellness goals.
• Recommending products and solutions with confidence while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and merchandising displays to a high standard.
• Supporting promotions, maintaining store presentation and ensuring excellent operational standards.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive shopping experience.
• Using a consultative approach to understand customers' needs and recommend products, in-store or online.
• Completing training to build product knowledge and provide trusted guidance.
