Job summary

Strathmore College is seeking a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join the Education team. The role focuses on delivering wellbeing interventions, supporting safeguarding, and mentoring students across key stages within a SEN context.

The successful candidate will work closely with pastoral teams, train ELSAs, and maintain thorough records of interventions and outcomes to promote student resilience and successful progression into employment and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in wellbeing or safeguarding contexts is desirable.
• Ability to plan, implement and monitor wellbeing interventions.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver targeted wellbeing interventions for students across key stages.
• Train and support ELSAs and staff on wellbeing strategies.
• Lead student mentoring and monitor allocation and effectiveness of support.
• Track student wellbeing using standard tools and maintain accurate records.
• Support safeguarding and liaise with external agencies as required.
• Evaluate interventions regularly and adapt methods based on best practice.
