Craven College in North Yorkshire seeks a Student Welfare Mentor to provide social and emotional support to students, helping remove barriers to learning. You will deliver personalised guidance within the college's wellbeing framework, facilitating 1:1 sessions and group workshops to promote mental health, resilience and academic success.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in learning support or counselling or willingness to work towards it.
• Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
• Commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing training.
• Experience of working with young people.
• Experience of working in a student-centred environment.
• Experience of working with multiple agencies and professionals.
• Understanding of issues facing young people and barriers to education.
• Good safeguarding understanding in an education setting.

Responsabilités
