Job summary

Strathmore College is seeking a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our Education team. You will support across key stages with wellbeing interventions and staff training, while maintaining safeguarding diligence and strong collaborative practice.

You will work within an SEN college environment, focusing on resilience, anxiety management and mindfulness to help learners progress toward employment and greater independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in wellbeing support within an education environment.
• Ability to plan, monitor and adapt individual and group interventions.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.

Responsibilities

• Plan interventions with pastoral leads for students (individuals/groups).
• Support ELSAs and collaborate on cohesive interventions.
• Lead student mentoring provision and provide materials for staff.
• Track student wellbeing using established tools and records.
• Support staff to complete behaviour and well being plans.
• Maintain confidential, accurate progress notes and share with colleagues.
• Assist safeguarding across the school in collaboration with DSLs.
• Communicate with external agencies to support positive outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate interventions and implement evidence-based improvements.
• Undertake home visits if required.
