Queen Mary’s College seeks a Learning Mentor and wellbeing Specialist to provide high-quality academic mentoring, wellbeing and mental health support to students. You will lead academic skills support, act as a point of contact for wellbeing difficulties, and contribute to safeguarding and student support systems for a safe learning environment.

The role includes delivering weekly wellbeing activities, managing a student caseload, and coordinating safeguarding and multi-agency working to support

Qualifications

• Comfortable with engaging with and supporting students with a range of SEN needs.
• Strong understanding of mental health needs in young people.
• Confident leading small group sessions with students.
• Excellent and diverse communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusion in education.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of academic skills support across the College.
• Design and run small group workshops and 1:1 sessions on study skills and independent learning.
• Develop resources to promote resilience and academic success.
• Monitor and improve the effectiveness of support programmes.
