Job summary

Strathmore College is recruiting a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our Education team. The role supports across key stages, planning targeted interventions, and training ELSAs to deliver cohesive wellbeing support.

The post involves monitoring student wellbeing, safeguarding collaboration, and flexible working within a dedicated SEN environment. A values-led, adaptable practitioner will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in wellbeing interventions for students with SEN.
• Ability to plan and deliver anxiety/anger management and resilience training.
• Experience training and supporting ELSAs.
• Strong record-keeping and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan interventions with pastoral lead for individuals or groups.
• Train and support ELSAs to deliver cohesive interventions.
• Lead on mentoring provision and monitor staff allocation.
• Track student wellbeing using PPP, MFQ and WHO-5.
• Support staff to complete behaviour support plans.
• Maintain confidential progress notes and share relevant information.
• Assist safeguarding across the school with DSLs & DDSLs.
• Collaborate with external agencies to support student outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate interventions and implement improvements.
• Undertake home visits if required.
