Job summary

Queen Mary’s College seeks a dedicated practitioner to lead academic skills support and wellbeing services for students. You will design workshops, manage safeguarding referrals, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure holistic student care.

The role includes acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, coordinating crisis plans, and maintaining confidential records while promoting inclusion and wellbeing across the college community.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting students with SEN or wellbeing is advantageous.
• Ability to design and deliver group workshops and 1:1 sessions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead the provision and delivery of academic skills support across the College.
• Design and facilitate small group workshops and one-to-one support sessions.
• Develop resources and interventions to promote student confidence and independence.
• Monitor and improve wellbeing and safeguarding programmes.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage referrals.
• Coordinate multi-agency support for students and families.
• Develop information systems and share updates with teaching staff.
