ABOUT THE ROLE

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your main focus will be supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a variety of activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
  • Reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
  • Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
  • Establishing links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage community access and promote intergenerational activities.
