Job summary

Mariposa Care is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator for Kingston Court care home in Carlisle. You will develop meaningful activities based on residents' stories and run a vibrant calendar of events to support social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

The role offers training and ongoing support, with a friendly team and a focus on compassionate care. Prior care experience is helpful, but candidates from other backgrounds are welcomed and guided through the process.

Qualifications

• Care experience is preferred but not required, training and support are provided.
• Good English and numeracy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents, building life stories into meaningful activities.
• Plan and deliver a calendar of group activities, one-to-one moments and special events.
• Motivate residents to join activities that enhance wellbeing.
• Support residents to maintain connections with family and community.
• Take photos for newsletters and social media.
