Job summary

Mariposa Care Group Ltd. is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator for Riverwell Beck Care Home in Blackwell. The role focuses on creating meaningful daily activities and supporting residents to enjoy social and emotional wellbeing.

You will plan a varied calendar of events, build life stories into activities, and help residents stay connected with family and the community. Training and support are provided as part of joining the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care or related setting.
  • Good English and numeracy skills.
  • Willing to receive training and support.

Responsibilities

  • Get to know each resident personally, building their life stories into meaningful activities.
  • Plan and deliver a fun and varied calendar of group activities, one-to-one moments and special events.
  • Motivate and encourage residents to join in with activities that enhance social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
  • Support residents to maintain strong connections with family, friends and the local community.
  • Take photos of events for newsletters and social media.

Location: Riverwell Beck Care Home, Durdar Road, Blackwell


Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour


Hours: 12 hours per week
