Job summary

Mariposa Care is hiring a Wellbeing Coordinator at Kingston Court care home in Carlisle. You’ll help residents stay engaged, planning activities that bring joy and meaning to everyday life.

We welcome friendly, compassionate and creative applicants. Care experience is ideal, but training and support will be provided to help you thrive in this role within our close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Care experience preferred, but training provided.
• Good English and numeracy skills required.
• Passion for caring for residents.

Responsibilities

• Get to know each resident personally, building their life stories into meaningful activities.
• Plan and deliver a fun and varied calendar of group activities, one-to-one moments and special events.
• Motivate and encourage residents to join in with activities that enhance social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Support residents to maintain strong connections with family, friends and the local community.
• Take photos of events for newsletters and social media.

Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour

Are you friendly, compassionate and creative? As a Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in the lives of our residents, helping to make every day meaningful and joyful. Ideally, we are looking for someone to have care experience, but we know people from other walks of life can become the very best in this type of role - so whether you’ve done this before or are just starting out, we’ll be with you every step of the way with all the training and support you need.
