Role Overview:

You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive school environment. This is a long-term position, responsible for addressing the welfare needs of our students.

Requirements:

• Current Enhanced DBS
• Current First Aid at Work or Paediatric First Aid Qualification

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide emotional support and guidance to students facing personal or academic challenges.
2. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student welfare.
3. Monitor student attendance and address issues proactively.
4. Work with parents and guardians to improve attendance rates.
5. Respond to behavioural concerns and implement interventions.
6. Work with the behaviour management team to create a positive learning environment.
7. Manage crisis situations to ensure student safety.
8. Coordinate with authorities and support services as needed.
9. Attend welfare meetings and maintain confidential records.
10. Generate reports for school administration.

Additional Information:

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency.
