Citizens Advice Worcester & Herefordshire (Operating as Citizens Advice Worcester) is seeking a Welfare Benefits Caseworker to work in Worcester on a part-time basis (28 hours per week). The role involves handling a full range of welfare benefits, preparing and presenting cases, negotiating with third parties, and assisting with supervision of volunteers.
Initial funding is until March 2028; salary FTE £29,071–£31,015 with pro rata figures £22,000–£23,471 depending on experience.

Provide casework across the full range of welfare benefits, including preparing and presenting cases to statutory bodies, tribunals and courts as appropriate, negotiating with third parties, and supporting clients with calculations, correspondence and calls where necessary. Also, assisting with supervision and training of volunteers where required.
For all roles we are looking for an individual with recent experience of advice work. We are also willing to consider other candidates with transferable skills which meet the person specification.
