Citizens Advice Worcester is seeking a Welfare Benefits Caseworker to join our team in Worcester on a part-time basis (28 hours per week). The role is funded initially until March 2028 with a pro rata salary of £22,000–£23,471 per year, depending on experience.
The post involves providing casework across the full range of welfare benefits, preparing and presenting cases to tribunals as required, and supporting clients with calculations, correspondence and calls.

Provide casework across the full range of welfare benefits, including preparing and presenting cases to statutory bodies, tribunals and courts as appropriate, negotiating with third parties, and supporting clients with calculations, correspondence and calls where necessary. Also, assisting with supervision and training of volunteers where required.
For all roles we are looking for an individual with recent experience of advice work. We are also willing to consider other candidates with transferable skills which meet the person specification.
