Job summary

East Coast College's Lowestoft Campus is seeking a Technical Support Instructor in Welding to provide practical learning support, ensure workshop safety, and help students access learning and achieve goals.

You will work across sites, bring industry welding experience, mentor students with additional needs, develop work placements and strengthen employer links. The role is full-time, permanent, term-time, with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in welding, engineering or a related technical field.
• Ability to support learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Strong employer engagement and networking skills for work placements and internships.
• Organised and collaborative professional with good communication and safeguarding focus.
