Job summary

Precision People are seeking a Plater Welder for a day shift role in Hinckley (LE10). The position offers pay up to £17.00 per hour and could lead to a permanent role. Interviews are taking place immediately.

The role is based on Monday to Thursday days, with Friday applications welcome online. The successful candidate will MIG weld steel up to 20mm, read engineering drawings, and fabricate structural steel to a high standard.

Qualifications

• MIG welding of steel up to 20mm.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Fully skilled in fabrication and welding.
• 3+ years experience in mid to heavy gauge mild steel.

Our client is looking for an experienced Welder/ fully skilled fabricator to join their expanding team.

Day Shift

Job Purpose

• To report to the Fabrication Manager
• To mig weld steel up to 20mm
• To read all engineering drawings
• Fully skilled in fabrication and Welding

The Plater Welder

• Ability to Weld and Fabricate structural steel to a High Standard
• Highly skilled apprentice-trained fabricator who can read engineering drawings and cope with varied jobs and materials
• More than 3 years industry experience welding and fabricating mid to heavy gauge mild steel
