Job summary

Precision People is hiring a plater welder in Hinckley for day shifts with a permanent role possible. Wages up to £17.00 per hour. The position requires MIG welding of steel up to 20mm, reading engineering drawings, and strong fabrication skills. Interviews start immediately.

The role reports to the Fabrication Manager and is based in Hinckley LE10, with a day shift schedule Monday to Friday as indicated.

Qualifications

• MIG welding of steel up to 20mm.
• Ability to read engineering drawings precisely.
• Fully skilled in fabrication and welding processes.
• 3+ years experience welding and fabricating mid-heavy gauge mild steel.
• Capable of working on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Fabrication Manager.

Job Purpose

• To report to the Fabrication Manager
• To mig weld steel up to 20mm
• To read all engineering drawings
• Fully skilled in fabrication and Welding The Plater Welder

• Ability to Weld and Fabricate structural steel to a High Standard
• Highly skilled apprentice-trained fabricator who can read engineering drawings and cope with varied jobs and materials
• More than 3 years industry experience welding and fabricating mid to heavy gauge mild steel You should be able to work on your own initiative.
