Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a welcoming, proactive Welcome Team Supervisor to lead reception and café operations across our centres in England. You will supervise the Welcome Team, ensure exceptional customer experiences and support sales and venue activities.

The role requires a customer-focused leader with experience in leisure, hospitality or retail environments, plus knowledge of reception or booking systems. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Experience supervising the Welcome Team and leading front-of-house operations.
Deliver exceptional customer service across reception, membership, bookings and enquiries.
Ability to train staff and foster a welcoming centre experience.
Experience handling payments and cash procedures.
Knowledge of café operations and barista-style drinks.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support the Welcome Team with day-to-day leadership.
Deliver exceptional customer service across reception, membership, booking and enquiry processes.
Ensure visitors receive a warm, professional, welcoming experience.
Support membership sales, bookings and customer retention initiatives.
Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks including barista-style coffee.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and café areas.
Monitor catering, retail and other income streams; help maximise revenues.
Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
Support centre events, activities and hospitality requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments for smooth centre operation.
