Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK invites applications for a Weighbridge Clerk to coordinate vehicle movements, resources and site operations. You will be a key contact for drivers, customers and planners to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate transport records.

The role requires strong IT, organisational and communication skills, and you will work closely with maintenance teams and planning offices to uphold safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Processing vehicle movements and site resources on a daily basis.
• Coordinating fleet and driver resources to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaising with customers, drivers, planners, and operational teams to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Maintaining accurate records and transport databases.
• Supporting the delivery of centralised transport plans.
• Managing drivers on a day-to-day basis and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Working closely with maintenance teams, operational sites, and planning offices.
• Conducting site inductions where required.
• Monitoring and investigating customer complaints, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Ensuring tachograph records are analysed and maintained.
• Supporting high standards of vehicle presentation and housekeeping.
• Following all Health, Safety, Environmental, and IMS procedures.
