You will interact with drivers, customers and planners, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate records while maintaining safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing or coordinating driver and fleet resources.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to make informed decisions and use sound judgement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A proactive, flexible, and committed approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Desirable: Knowledge of inert waste reception processes.

Responsibilities

• Processing vehicle movements and site resources on a daily basis.
• Coordinating fleet and driver resources to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaising with customers, drivers, planners, and operational teams to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Maintaining accurate records and transport databases.
• Supporting the delivery of centralised transport plans.
• Managing drivers on a day-to-day basis and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Working closely with maintenance teams, operational sites, and planning offices.
• Conducting site inductions where required.
• Monitoring and investigating customer complaints, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Ensuring tachograph records are analysed and maintained.
• Supporting high standards of vehicle presentation and housekeeping.
• Following all Health, Safety, Environmental, and IMS procedures.
