Job summary

Eurovia UK Limited in Greater London is seeking a diligent Weighbridge Operator to join our highway materials division. You will weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, record load details, issue tickets and paperwork, and support drivers with safe, efficient operations.

Working hours are full-time with a 47.5 hour pattern; we value accuracy, strong communication, and adherence to health and safety standards. A full driving licence is required, and flexible working arrangements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles using a computerized weighbridge system.
• Recording load details accurately (materials, weight, driver information).
• Issuing tickets, delivery notes, and paperwork.
• Monitoring site traffic and directing drivers safely.
• Communicating with plant operators, drivers, and management.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, and health & safety standards.
• Reporting discrepancies, faults, or issues with loads or equipment.
• Preparing rotas for drivers.
• Taking orders.
