Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a part-time Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator for The Donnington Care Home in Newbury. The role focuses on creating engaging activities for residents and coordinating events, while managing budgets and maintaining records.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, contributing to a warm, supportive community atmosphere. The position emphasizes compassionate care, creative programming, and collaboration with care teams to enhance residents’ wellbeing through meaningful activities

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with ability to generate ideas and activities.
• Ability to manage budgets and keep paperwork up to date.
• Genuine care for others with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to one with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
