Job summary

Bupa’s Ashley Park Care Home in West Clandon is seeking a part‑time Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator to inspire residents with engaging activities. You’ll run sessions, manage an activity planner and coordinate events, working weekends alongside a friendly care team.

You’ll build tailored plans, organise celebratory activities, and connect with local performers to enrich residents’ wellbeing. An empathetic, energetic persona helps create a joyful home environment.

Qualifications

• Creative thinking to design engaging activities and tailor plans for residents.
• Ability to manage a budget for activities and paperwork.
• Strong prioritisation to juggle multiple tasks and events.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner within a set budget.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents.
• Liaise with external companies and local performers for days out/events.
• Organise one-to-ones with residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, or chats.
• Support the home with social media channels as required.
