Job summary

BM Caterers is seeking a Vending Services Assistant to support weekend operations in Chesterfield. The role includes liaising with internal teams, ensuring food safety and due diligence, and monitoring vending points to maintain stock and dating.

The ideal candidate will have Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates, plus prior customer service experience with merchandising and till familiarity to support shop-floor presentation.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates are required.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Merchandising skills and till experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with departments and management to achieve results.
• Comply with due diligence procedures per company policy.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and labeled with in-date products.
• Monitor vending points and machines to maintain stock levels.
• Accurate cash handling, stock taking, and record keeping.
• Attend training sessions as required.
