Job summary

BM Caterers in Milton Keynes is seeking a part-time Vending Services Assistant to support our vending operations. The role is 20 hours per week, Thursday through Monday, with duties spanning liaison with departments, compliance with policies, stock control, and cash handling.

As a multi award-winning contract caterer serving over 45,500 customers daily, you will hold Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates, bring customer service experience, and use merchandising and till

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 required.
• Experience in customer service is essential.
• Merchandising and till experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with departments and manager to achieve targets.
• Follow due diligence and company policies.
• Store goods safely and ensure correct labeling and dating.
• Maintain accurate records of storage and checks.
• Monitor vending points and stock levels.
• Handle cash accurately and perform stock counts.

We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Vending Services Assistant to join our team.

This is a Vending Assistant position to work from Thursday through to Monday (20 hours per week).

Your duties include:

• Liaising with different departments & manager to achieve desired results
• Comply with all due diligence procedures as instructed following company policy
• Ensure goods are stored correctly in line with the food safety manual policies and procedures
• Ensure effective record keeping with regard to storage and due diligence checks
• Ensure all food stored is correctly labelled and in date
• Monitor vending points and machines to ensure consistent levels of produce
• Accurate cash handling/stock taking/record keeping
• Attend training where necessary

Following procedures and displaying good food safety practice at all times, you have your Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates. With previous experience working in a customer service environment, you have good merchandising skills and till experience.
