Specsavers Canterbury is a busy optical and hearing care store located in the heart of the city. The role involves supporting customers across optical and hearing care, delivering a friendly, professional and high-quality service in a customer-focused environment.

We offer excellent training and development opportunities, with up to 38 hours a week (full-time) or part-time for the right applicant, plus benefits such as a pension scheme, Specsavers Perks, WeCare, Headspace app, birthday day off

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is beneficial.
• Interest in optics or audiology and willingness to learn on the job.
• Good communication, listening skills and ability to take feedback.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.

Our store

Specsavers Canterbury is a busy, modern optical and hearing care store located in the heart of the city. The team provides a wide range of professional services, including adult and children’s eye examinations, OCT 3D eye scanning, contact lens services, eye health checks and home eye tests. The store also offers comprehensive hearing care, including adult hearing tests, audiology services, ear wax removal and hearing protection.

Working as part of the Canterbury team, you’ll have the opportunity to support customers across both optical and hearing care, delivering a friendly, professional and high-quality service in a customer-focused environment.
