Diageo is seeking a Weekend Shift Manager at Shieldhall, Glasgow to lead a 40-strong packaging and operations team on Friday–Sunday 7am–7pm, with handover on Monday. The role is full-time and permanent, with occasional weekday coverage to support adjacent shifts.

You will drive safety, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, setting stretch plans to meet customers and grow the Scotch site’s capability while developing people and leaders.

Qualifications

• Inclusive leadership and strong operational leadership experience.
• Experience leading other leaders or holding a management position.
• Passion for developing people and building leadership capability.
• Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to drive change and act as a role model for safety.

Responsabilités

• Lead a weekend team of ~40 people (Packaging Team Leaders, Operators and Engineers).
• Prioritize safety and cultivate a continuous improvement culture.
• Drive Lean manufacturing practices and operational excellence.
• Set stretch plans to meet customer requirements and site growth.
• Foster engagement and develop leaders across shifts.
