Job summary

Diageo Shieldhall in Glasgow is seeking a Weekend Shift Manager to lead the packaging site over Friday to Sunday, with a Monday handover. You will manage a team of around 40 people including Leaders, Operators and Engineers, driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement while developing your people.

You may be asked to work additional weekdays to build relationships with other shifts and to support the site’s growth agenda across Scotch brands, while maintaining safety and operational

Qualifications

• Experience leading other leaders or at a managerial level.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong safety leadership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekend production teams of around 40 people including Leaders, Operators and Engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence across the site.
• Collaborate with other shifts and leaders to ensure safe and reliable production.
