Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd in Hexham is recruiting for a weekend team member to support busy store operations. The role involves restocking, merchandising and delivering friendly customer service. You will handle till transactions with our Epos system and assist with deliveries as required.

The position is weekends only, totalling 14 hours, which may suit college students. The company aims to provide high quality service while driving growth and revenue through sales:** discount opportunities

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high store standards and merchandising.
• Experience handling cash accurately.
• Stock replenishment and product knowledge.
• Friendly and proactive sales approach.

Responsabilités

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a fully stocked store.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Welcome and greet customers; process sales through the Epos till system.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and keep product information up to date.
• Describe product features and benefits clearly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We have an opening for a weekend team member in our Hexham store.

The role will include but is not exhaustive, restocking, merchandising and customer service, cash handling.

The position offered is: 14 hours Weekends Only (may suit college students)

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
