Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company is recruiting for a part-time Sales Assistant in Hexham. The role involves delivering high levels of customer service, maintaining store presentation, and processing sales at the till.

The position is 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota basis and may include early mornings. Training will be provided, and you will be involved in stock and deliveries to support sales growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to identify customer needs and close sales.
• Comfort with cash handling and till operation.
• Willingness to work weekends on rota.

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store

• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional 4 recruits to the sales assistant team in our store at Hexham.

The positions offered are: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
