Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd in Sleaford is recruiting a Sales Assistant to join our store team. The role is 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings.

You will deliver high levels of customer service, maintain store appearance and stock, greet customers, process sales on the till system, and stay up to date with product information. After a 6-week induction, you’ll enjoy a 12.5% staff discount at YTC stores and 5.6 weeks of annual leave

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
• 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at Sleaford.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
