Job summary

Gressingham Foods is seeking a Temporary Weekend Farm Worker to join our poultry team in England. The role covers early mornings on Saturdays and Sundays, handling egg collection, grading and washing, and ensuring welfare and safety standards are met.

You will work with the Farm Manager to meet production targets, maintain records, report repairs, and support colleagues. Own transport is essential due to the site location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain welfare standards of poultry on site.
• Assist the farm team to achieve egg production and fertility targets.
• Work to a high health and safety standard.
• Handle day-to-day collection, grading and washing of eggs.
• Work with the team to produce records for up-to-date information.
• Monitor and report repairs to buildings and machinery to the Site Manager.
• Liaise regularly with Site Manager and site staff to ensure smooth information flow.
• Report shortages of farm supplies to the Site Manager.
• Maintain all aspects of company policy on site.
• Maintain the health and welfare of the ducks on site.
• Carry out other poultry farming tasks as required by the company.
