Job summary

Gressingham Foods is seeking a Weekend Farm Worker to assist with the day-to-day running of the poultry farm and to maintain the highest levels of welfare and biosecurity. The role requires weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday), totaling 10 hours per week, with a shift from 6am to 11am.

You will work with the Farm Manager to keep records and ensure stock levels are adequate. The ideal candidate will support animal welfare, follow safety protocols, and be prepared for additional duties as

• Experience with poultry farming is advantageous.
• Commitment to high welfare and biosecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high welfare standards for ducks.
• Assist with achieving target growth rates efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with Farm Manager to produce and update records.
• Monitor stock levels of farm supplies and report shortages.
• Support health and welfare of ducks on site.
• Carry out other poultry farming tasks as required by the company.
• Maintain and improve health and hygiene standards.
