Job summary

Gressingham Foods is seeking a Temporary Breeder Farm Worker to join our poultry team. The role focuses on maintaining welfare standards, achieving egg production targets, and ensuring health and safety across the site. You will be responsible for record-keeping, reporting repairs, and coordinating with the Site Manager and staff.

The position is a temporary fixed-term contract through 6 August 2027, with 39 hours per week. Basic pay is £12.75 per hour, with weekend rates of £16.99 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest welfare standards on site.
• Assist with achieving target levels of egg production and fertility.
• Work to a high health and safety standard.
• Produce all records required to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Monitor and report repairs to buildings and machinery to the Site Manager.
• Liaise regularly with Site Manager and communicate with site staff to ensure the flow of information.
