JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Weekend Passenger Assistant at Preston Train Station to provide essential support to travellers. This part-time, temporary role offers £13.50 per hour for 15 hours weekly, working Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting customers who have pre‑booked assistance services.
• Escorting and guiding passengers around the station and to the correct platforms.
• Providing reassurance, support and information to customers throughout their journey.
• Assisting members of the public with enquiries and directions.
• Acting as a key point of contact for anyone requiring assistance within the station.
• Using radios to communicate with colleagues and operational teams.
• Updating and uploading information onto internal systems.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
• Managing multiple tasks in a busy and fast‑paced environment.
• Going the extra mile to provide a positive customer experience.
