Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a Registered Children’s Nurse in Hertfordshire to deliver patient‑centred care for a young client. You will provide clinical nursing support, monitor health status, administer medications, and work closely with families and the care team.

Applicants must be an NMC registered Children’s Nurse with excellent communication and safeguarding awareness. Weekend night shifts (8pm–8am) are available, and a supportive induction is provided.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a Registered Children's Nurse is required.
• Strong communication and clinical observation skills are essential.
• Calm, compassionate, child-centred approach with safeguarding understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, child-centred nursing care according to the individual care plan.
• Monitor the child or young person’s clinical condition and general wellbeing.
• Provide planned clinical interventions within your competence.
• Support medication management in line with the care plan and procedures.
• Recognise and respond to changes in health or behaviour.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and healthcare professionals.
• Support development, independence and participation in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate care and clinical records.
• Follow safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
• Build a consistent, reassuring relationship with the child and family.
